It was still raining again this morning
when we got up and rained intermittently through about 3:00 this
afternoon. Then around 7:00 tonight the sun came out bright and
shining. Finally!! Of course the forecast is for rain again tonight
and tomorrow, but at least it has been a nice evening to visit with Pastor Sandy.
Today we decided to move back to
Girdwood so we could go to church at Girdwood Chapel again in the
morning. So we said goodbye to Chuck and his sweet wife at Country
Boy RV park in Ninilchik and headed for Girdwood about 1:00 pm. We
would recommend Country Boy to folks headed down the peninsula here
in Alaska. We plan to do some hiking after church if
the weather permits. There is one more hike in Girdwood we were
hoping to do. We shall see. So currently we are in the parking lot of the church and after tomorrow we plan to start north,
first stopping in Anchorage to do a few things. We will keep you
posted. Sorry – no pictures today. No sunshine and too much rain.
